I've practiced law in Colorado since 2005.  For the first 17 years of my career, I served the People of Colorado as a Deputy District Attorney.  My cases there involved everything from traffic offenses to first degree murder.  During those years, I saw it all: domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, complex financial crimes, and more.  Ultimately, I worked my way up to the position of Chief Deputy District Attorney, where I supervised, mentored, and trained a team of 11 other lawyers.  

 

My life took an unexpected turn, though, when I went through my own divorce.  At times the process was painful and unsettling.  At other times, to my surprise, I found myself inspired by the opportunity to start fresh and to rebuild a new chapter of my life.  It was out of this experience that I decided to reorient my legal practice to help other people who are experiencing their own divorce, or any other change in family circumstances.

When I'm not practicing law, I enjoy exploring Colorado’s mountains with my two kids and going for long runs along our local trails.
